this is a piece way back from 1998, featuring alex lowe on flute, saxophone and music stand. it was the first time alex played on a compostition of mine. this has been kicking around for a long time, and I've finally found a place to let it out. bit of trivia: towards the end of the piece, near where the saxophone outro starts, there's a noticeable increase in the reverb on the track- while printing the mix, i forgot the reverb was muted (as i was checkign out things prior to printing) and didn't realize until the point where it starts to fade up in the mix. i decided it was a performance mix, and that's the way it should be. things change. |
